Getting help

If something isn’t working or you have a question, email [email protected]. We read every message and aim to reply within a couple of business days. Including your macOS version and a short description (or screenshot) of the issue helps us help you faster.

How to use Enormo

  1. Add a photo. Drag an image onto the Enormo window, or click to choose a file.
  2. Pick a look (optional). Enormo’s Auto mode analyzes each photo and chooses the best processing for you. You can also set the photo type yourself — portrait, photo, art/illustration, or compressed/low-res.
  3. Choose a size. Upscale or the original resolution.
  4. Upscale. Enormo processes the image entirely on your Mac — no internet connection required.
  5. Compare. Use the before/after slider to inspect the result up close.
  6. Save. Export as PNG (lossless) or JPEG (adjustable quality), or use Quick Save to drop the result straight into your Downloads folder. Your EXIF metadata is preserved.

Tips for the best results

  • Turn on Best Quality when you want the sharpest possible output and don’t mind waiting a little longer.
  • For portraits, Enormo can detect and enhance faces — great for restoring older photos.
  • Small or heavily compressed images benefit most from upscaling. Start at 2× and try 4× if you need more size.

Frequently asked questions

Do my photos leave my Mac? No. All processing happens locally on your device. Enormo works fully offline — no uploads, no accounts, no tracking.

What does it cost? Enormo is free to try for your first 10 exports. After that, a single one-time purchase of $49.99 unlocks unlimited exports — no subscription, ever. Upscaling and previewing are always free; only saving to disk is gated on the free tier.

What do I need to run it? A Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 26 or later.

Which file formats are supported? Enormo opens common image formats and exports to PNG or JPEG, with EXIF metadata preserved.

Where do my upscaled images go? Wherever you choose when you export — or, with Quick Save, straight to your Downloads folder.
